PORTRAITS     Scroll down for description

Throughout history, portrait sculpture has been used to honor men and women for their accomplishments or contributions to a community, organization or project. It also has been used to capture the charm and grace of someone dearly loved, in a permanent medium.

Portraits are by commission. They can be busts or complete figures, life-size or larger. I prefer to use a combination of physical measurements, photographs and private sittings with the subject.

The same portrait processes can be used to create symbolic pieces such a servicemen's memorials rather than to represent specific persons. Prices vary depending on size, availability of subject, travel etc. For more information, call (360) 371-0275 or e-mail sculptor@robertmcdermott.com.
